Hello Experts,

I am in the process of migrating ECC EHP6 SP10 to HANA SP11 using SUM SP 16 PL6. This is dev system, during ACT_UPG phase, there are multiple table activation errors as below. Example - During inital phase I see errors on few tables and as per note, I need to just repeat the phase but not supposed to choose the ignore non-severe errors. So I tried to repeat again, second time I got different set of table activation errors and I repeated again, third time with different set of tables, so on and so forth but it looks to be never ending process. I am performing this for almost 2 days. I have created message with SAP, they have advised to keep repeating till errors go away but errors doesn't seem to go away. The weird part is, one table DVKTX is consistent among all the time when I see ACT_UPG.SAV file.

My question is, has anyone come across ACT_UPG activation errors in ECC EHP7 HANA migration?

2. Have anyone tried to ignore non-severe errors? Any issues if ignored?

Actually i want to input payment reference field while posting payments for vendor / customer, i have done all the settings like i have made field optional i.e (payment reference) in  FSG G067 and in FS of posting keys (25,15).

When am doing payment for vendors with f-53, i have inputed all the required fields and processed open items then after am simulating, double clicking vendor line item (25pk) i can visible payment reference field but it's disable.

My question is how can i make the field in enable status, so that i can input some value...

how can i write it in query and how can i make sure division by zero overflow does not happen?

Hi Experts,

We have installed an SCM APO server (EHP3 FOR SAP SCM 7.0) and the live cache 7.9.08.17 is on another box. We have recently refreshed the SCM system from QA, but LC has yet to be refreshed. We can connect to the livecache from LC10 but it says SQL access is not possible.

We have maintained the username and password in Integration for all the 3 connections.

Checking in DB59, for all 3 connections, LCA, LDA and LEA we are getting sql_neg: no_connection.

In SM50, its showing below error:

Hi All,

I have been working on EH&S BOMBOS and to my understanding Bill of materials (BOM) is created for finished and semi finished goods. From the Bill of material we can create composition of a specification and the system will update Bill of substance created in the composition of the BOM material. To elaborate further I will write down the steps that I have performed.

1) In CS01 I have created BOM for material XXXXXX and ensured the material is Env Rlt. Also, specification is assigned to the materisl as type REAL_SUB.

2) After that I have listed the components in CS02 for BOM material created i.e.. say 4 components. I also ensured that the components listed also has the REAL_SUB specification assigned with Env Rlt.

3)In CG37 when I executed the wordlist for the BOM material I am getting the errors as "Composition for bill of material xxxxxx  and plant xxxx has not been generated; see log.

The log shows the error message as "Parent object contains error" and "Invalid reference value in field OWNID". I checked for environment parameters BOMBOS_OWNID the parameter value is assigned with 0000050091. I am not sure whether the value maintained is correct or not. Please suggest what is this BOMBOS_OWNID parameter and what should be the value for the same. Now I deleted the parameter value defined for BOMBOS_OWNID and the system is throwing an error "Environment parameter BOMBOS_OWNID was not found".

Please help in resolving the issue.

We are currently working on a project of BW reports ( BEx tools etc. ) and BO ( dashboards, lumira, webi, CR, predective analysis etc. )

I would like to know is it possible to integrate all BW BEx reports into EP along with all BO tools ( Dashboards, Webi Reports, CR reports, Lumira etc. ) in it too ?

Is it a complex process to do that and also BW comes with it's own EP or any EP can work for both BW-BO.

I am trying to use a java script to make first letter of sentence in upper case using the formatter property by writing JS in formatter.js.

I am able to use it successfully on master page for a field value but for same field value I used in details page it is not able to fetch that string value and gives error "Cannot read property replace of 'null' ".

It looks like that value has not been initialized in details page during load of that script but same script it is very well working in Master Page!

How is that possible?

SharePoint is a collaboration and document management platform from Microsoft tailored for Enterprises and Small Business. It is a powerful document store where organization typically use it as a repository to hold their data files. In this post, we will see how we can connect to SharePoint from SAP Lumira and consume data to build storyboard.

Use Case

Many of the enterprises have Intranet and repository for various department in SharePoint. These hold files like their finance statement, excel files and documents shared to the entire department or to group of people. In this scenario you would need to build storyboard from the files updated there and also share your local files to SharePoint.

The traditional approach is to download the files and build storyboard and upload it back to SharePoint, but any data that changes in the data source will not be reflected and the process has to be repeated.

The below method eliminates the needs and also acts as easy method to retrieve data from SharePoint and might be useful for enterprise which runs on SharePoint as a document repository. It also works with Office 365 SharePoint sites.

Mounting SharePoint as local drive

SharePoint document store can be considered as a folder or placeholder where all the files are being put. It also gives an option to mount a particular directory as local drive to access the files from explorer.

Navigate to the SharePoint site where the document repository exist. You should be seeing the document view with list of document.

Expand Library menu and you would get list of menu options. Select the option Open with Explorer.

Note: The Open with Explorer options works only with Internet Explorer and the SharePoint site should be added to trusted site

The complete documents would be opened in the Windows Explorer. Select the path of the explorer. The path would usually be the site URL followed by the documents path

Navigate to My Computer and Click on Map Network drive. Select a mount point and give the above path in the folder. You would have mounted the drive. Now you can access it from within Explorer.

Note: Most Enterprise have Single Sign On with the SharePoint which lets you mount without your username/password. In places where SSO is not used, you may require to mount using your username/password

Accessing Data from SharePoint from SAP Lumira

You can consume the files that are stored in SharePoint in SAP Lumira. It can be flat files like CSV or even Excel files. Open SAP Lumira and select the Data source.

In the source, navigate to the above path that you had mounted and select the required file. Lumira would be able to read the file.

You can now create your Visualization. Every time the data changes in the SharePoint, you would be able to refresh it and Lumira would update to the latest data.

In the next series of the post, we will see how we can consume SharePoint Lists in SAP Lumira to create awesome storyboard with that.

After the question by Jean-François Drouet in Design Studio SDK: Calendar Selector Component blog about a possibility of month selection I have taken into consideration 3 options for making this scenario happen.

1. build your own button area by placing many buttons (this is always possible)

2. using existing controls (like SCN Design Studio SDK: Segmented Button Component)

3. any other easy way to make it.

Scenario

Selecting of months is one scenario where a quick access can be beneficial, but selection of any members would be also nice to have. Some scenarios can be already covered by Segmented Button, but it has one part which is not helping in this scenario - it is basically only horizontal and does not react on overflow.

So, this is how the "Float Button" was created.

Technical Background

Technically, it is a array of buttons (simple or toggle) which is floating over the reserved space. It means, as soon the width is not enough, next button is places below the row and opening next row. Like those examples (list of cities):

each city represents one button, the width is set to "-1", so the button adjusts to word width.

Code

to make a simple example, I use the bing your own data source and data iterator. of course, you can also use "getMembers()" method to fill in the content. (this is also the reason for the key replacement, as there is no real key in this data set)

Our server was hit by some unknown virus which seems to have corrupted header information for many of our files including an important databases and some of its backups. However the log file (.LDF) for the live DB was not affected. We also have a relatively old .BAK backup file.

Is it possible to bring the DB (.MDF) in the old backup to Live standard using the new/latest Log file? If so, how? Any help is truly appreciated.

But Now Am trying to find IF OData for SAP C4C can cover all same operations that we we have WSDL's ?? do we have a clear documentation show what the main diffrences ?
