Hi,
I would like to add an offline functionality to SAPUI5/Fiori apps. I know that there is a solution with SAP Mobile Platform and Kapsel plugin, but I am not interested in the solution with additional middleware. The solution should be created only based on a SAP Fiori app and SAP NW Gateway.
The mechanism should work as follow:
- At the very beginning data required by the application is downloaded and stored in Local Storage.
- When the mobile app switches to offline mode oDataModel should work on local storage, as if the app was still in online, instead of backend odata service. So oDataModel should use local storage and manipulate data in local storage.
- When the mobile app switches to online mode once again, there should be possibility to synchronize data from local storage to SAP.
Does anyone has an idea how to connect oDataModel with LocalStorage? How to redirect CRUD requests to local Storage in offline mode?
