Dear Experts,
We have a scenario where we have a custom BO with an action that passes certain information to an external RESTful service whenever a Purchase Order is created. During development we had no issues, everything was working properly - the service integration was working perfectly.
After a lot of testing we assembled and downloaded the solution. However, after assembling the solution when we did some further tests in the Business Solution (ByDesign), we noticed that the service calls do not go through. The communication scenario, communication arrangements are all active and have not been changed.
Tracing the solution, I find that the script with the service gets executed, the JSON message is created but only the service call fails - as in the result is empty. I cannot see the request URL nor the result code. And of course, on the external service end - i receive no calls either.
So could someone advise if I am missing a configuration step or something here or is it an issue that needs to followed up with SAP support?
