Hi,
I know that we need to use account assignment category of E in purchase order so that we can receive goods into sales order stocks during GR. However our purchase orders are generated in a third party system and interfaced into SAP using xml files as such we cannot change the account assignment category in SAP purchase orders. Since no modifications are allowed in the third party system at the moment there is no way we can enter account assignment category E and the sales order in purchase order.
As such i would like to know if we can set the account assignment category to unknown in the purchase order and then receive the stocks into sales order stocks at the time of goods receipt using 101 - E and enter the sales order?
Please advise.
