UoM calculation in version 9.0/9.1

Dear All,

I did test for UoM in version 9.0/9.1, below is the sample:

Decimal setting for Quantity = 3 decimal. (General Settings - > Display tab)

Inventory UoM = DRM

Sales UoM = KGS

I did define the UoM as , 285 KGS = 1 DRM

Then I do Sales Order with Quantity = 285 KGS.

But, the column QTY (Inventory UoM) shown = 1.14 (THIS IS WRONG, it should show 1).

Then I noticed in Item Master Data, under Sales Data tab, also wrong:

Sales UoM Code = KGS (which I set earlier)

Items per Sales Unit = 0.004   (which I notice that system calculate 1/285 = 0.0035087719298246 , round to three decimal become 0.004)

And then when 285 * 0.004 = 1.14

Does anyone did use UoM in version 9.0 and above, and how does actually the system calculate.

Because this will affect the actual stock.
