Dear All,
I am doing check for my production orders in COMAC t.code.
In COMAC, we have option as below for "Scope of ATP Process"
1. Individual check for each material according to the checking group
The availability check is executed for each material depending on the settings in the checking group (for example, check against planning).
2. ATP check for all materials
The availability check is executed for all materials as an ATP check, regardless of the settings in the checking group.
3. Check for all materials against planning
The availability check is executed for all materials as a check against planning. The check against planning is not executed if the checking group has the entry No check in the RelChkPlan field for the check against planning.
4. No check
No check is executed. This setting is useful if you want to reset the availability data without carrying out a new check.
I have doubt in "Option 2 - ATP Check for all materials"
In the SAP help, it is said that "The availability check is executed for all materials as an ATP check, regardless of the settings in the checking group". I understand that, in order to perform the ATP check, the "Checking Rule / Checking Group" (which is defined in OPJK for production order type) & the "Availability Check" (which is defined in material master) is MUST. Because for "Checking Group / Checking Rule" & "Availability Check" combination, the ATP logic is defined in OPJJ.
In the case of "Option 2", according to SAP F1 help, it says that "REGARDLESS OF THE SETTING in CHECKING GROUP", the ATP will be carried out for all material. What does it mean? Then which "Che king Group" will be considered if i choose the "OPTION 2" in COMAC?
Your valuable feedback very much appreciated.
Thanks
