Issue Description:
We have zero tolerance policy for Overpayment in Lockbox processing. Ie, if the customer pays a cent more than the invoice amount, the payment should be posted ‘on-account’ for further processing by AR team. However, when the file is posted via FLB2, the status is ‘Applied’ and the difference is posted as residual amount.
For underpayment, the policy is $25 or 10%. This is posting correctly as ‘On-account’ while the issue is only on overpayment.
Current Configuration
OBAY
Partial Payments checkbox is NOT CHECKED. Everything else in 'Postings' is CHECKED
OBA3- Tolerance group assigned to customer master data
'Permitted Payment Differences'
All fields in Gain is blank
for Loss, amount is $25 and percent is 10%, no discount
'Tolerances for Payment Advices'
Outst.receiv.from is $25 and 10%
Outst.payable from is all blank
OBA4 - Assigned to Employee
All fields in Revenue is blank
Expense is $25 and 10%
Could you help on how overpayment can be posted as 'On-account' ?
