Error in Payroll log

Dear Experts

I am running the payroll for the indian employee  for the financial  01.04.2014 but the system is going for retro calculations  I,e Jan, feb, march  but their is no change in  the salary why it is calculating retro and also I am getting the below error : NO PAYROLL RESULTS AVALIABLE  for 12^th th Period 2014 for the employee
